So, What's It About?

But Why do I Write Anyway?
It's simple, really. I am a black woman, a mother, a creative, and I wanted to add the space of the literary world and write stories that center black women being loved on by black men unapologetically and loudly. There are enough stereotypes out there as is, and I wanted to add my own twist to them and offer a fresh perspective on black love. My characters are complex, funny, and worthy of reading about. I started my writing journey about two years ago when I fell out of love with designing graphics.
Through writing, I was able to find my spark with designing again, and ever since, I haven't let either of them go. So here we are. I'm a self-publishing author and designer, and I'm living the life I don't wanna ever vacation from.
